ACCOMMODATION ON KLONDYKE
We offer a cottage that are fully equipped for self-catering. Our prices include vat. We supply duvets, pillows and towels, crockery, kitchen equipment and utensils. There is a stove and fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster in each kitchen. There are heaters in all the rooms, and electric blankets on all the beds. Each cottage has an inside fireplace and an outside braai. There is no TV available.
We will provide firewood and firelighters for your first night in one of our cottages.
Additional firewood – R50 per bag to be paid into the “honesty jar” please.
We also have a campsite with 8 electrical connections, water points and two ablution blocks.
CHERRY COTTAGE
R1550 / night for 4 people
A minimum of two nights stay during weekends
Sleeps 4 in two rooms, one with a double bed, the other has two singles. A separate bathroom (shower only) and spacious open plan kitchen (Gas stove with electric oven) and living area. There is an inside fireplace and the cottage is away from the others below the cherry orchard.

A Simple campsite with lots of shade under the old trees.
There are 12 electrical connection and water points for tents/ vans.
Our campsite offers two clean and convenient ablution blocks, each with basic amenities. Please note that there are only two hot-water showers available, so we recommend planning accordingly during peak times.
For your comfort, picnic tables are provided throughout the campsite—perfect for enjoying meals or relaxing under the trees.
To help us protect the environment and reduce fire risk, open fires are not permitted. Campers are welcome to use gas braais or charcoal for cooking.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Deposits as confirmation:
- A minimum booking deposit of 50% to be paid within 3 days please – 72 hours – to secure a provisional booking.
- Please put your name & arrival date as reference when making the deposit.
- If no deposit payment is received within this time, then the provisional booking will lapse.
- Unless otherwise agreed, please will you pay in the final balance of the booking amount for your stay no later than 2 days before arrival so that it shows on our bank account.
Cancellation:
- Notice of cancellation of a confirmed booking must be in writing please
- Cancellations within 10 working days of occupation will only be refunded if we are able to find a replacement.
General:
- We ask for a minimum stay of 2 nights over a weekend and 3-4 nights stay over a long weekend.
- Arrival time from 15:00pm or by arrangement. PLEASE NOTE no arrivals after 19h30.
- Departure by 10:30am, except Sunday 17:00pm.
- Day visitors to the cottages only by prior arrangement please.
- Please note that our farm gate closes at 19:45pm in the evening.
- No scramblers or quad bikes allowed.
- Please do not feed the farm dogs.
- Consider other visitors and please no loud music after 10pm at night
- Note there is no cell reception at the cottage, only at the office area.
All visitors to Klondyke Farm do so at their own risk and the proprietor cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, or injury, to persons or their possessions or vehicles.
